Hey Tzachi

It can be said that this model is new....
meaning that, the model on 1:50 scale is not as accurate to the original and not symmetrical in parts and also not symmetrical on the engine houses and the air intakes.

the cockpit on the 1:50 scale is too big and without the right shape.
also the wings and the stabilizers on the tails was with the wrong shape and size....the wings are too short for 1:50 scale.

I did the 1:50 scale model at the request of a friend, but I personally did not build it.
But after seeing the model built by 3 friends, and after looking at my old files, I saw that the model on the small scale does not meet my new standards.

at those days, I was new with drawing models without much experience in Photoshop, and for that, the 1:50 model is not good for me so much.
so i decided to draw it from the start.

i am working on the big scale over 2 months and I have not yet reached the stage of painting the model and weathering it.

I hope, that at the end, the model will look good and meet my expectations and yours.

take care

YOAV

Since the model should be a white model, I want to try something new, to give the model a more spicy and interesting look.

You know, I paint all my models and make dirt on them and weathering.

In this model, I want to do something a bit different....
dust and sand that have been stuck and accumulated on the model, because it stood for a long time without treatment and cleanliness, like the planes of the Israeli Air Force who left the service and are somewhere in some back yard without care and preservation.

YOAV

Here are some photos i found of fouga planes with a lot of dust and sand.
the dust and the sand are marked with blue arrows.

And this is my first attempt with dust and sand on the left wing.....still without dirt and weathering around the panels and the outlines.

Yoav, your models are outstanding in all respects (!), and I look forward to all new ones. In that regard, I hope you consider gracing us with a cleaner version of the airplane as it WAS BEFORE it left service.

Respectfully,

Gene K

A file that contains the sides of the body that includes the air intake and the house of the engine.

As you can see, the body is dirty with dust and sand stuck to the plane, including oil leaks as depicted in the images on the right side.

Nice weathering yoav...

I think it will be a good idea to move the weathering layer on top of the decal layer so they will look like the writing has dirt over it ...
think about it my friend.
seems to be one dirty bird

I hope Yoav will grace some of us with a "cleaner" version.
