I know that the prop pitch was reversed, but I just went with the markings on the prop spinner. I think I will go ahead and print out a new set of props and make her a three bladed prop spinning in the correct direction. I wasn't going to point out that error because I guess in England they run the engines in the opposite direction. Or maybe that's Australia I'm thinking of. This particular aircraft must have had an engine upgrade as the photo of the real aircraft definitely shows a three bladed prop. As for the wing registration numbers, that too is a British verses American way of doing things. I don't fault Gary for designing it the way aircraft are marked in Europe but like RickPink65 states they are absent on American registered aircraft. As far as an interior goes, I don't think it would be hard to modify the interior of Gary's PA-23 Apache to fit this model. The bulkheads and frames are already included in the kit.

The platitudes from all of you should be directed to Gary. I just built what he designed. Now I think I'm going to have to build his PA 23 Apache and Piper Tripacer in the same scale to give this little fellow some company. And I need to plant the seed of a Cessna 152 in Sir Pilsworth's mind, since there's no good models of that popular craft out there anywhere. Cheers, and see you all at the restaurant at the end of the world. The first round of Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters are on me.

There IS an excellent Cessna 150 (same as 152, only the engine changed) printed by Schreiber of Germany. It is fully detailed with all interior in both land and float versions. They also have a Piper Super Cub. Also beautiful. And Schreiber models are not expensive. Other Cessnas do need a detailed paper model. Let's think of the Cessna 170 or 180, 185, Caravan or the Skylane or the popular Cessna 172. Also later versions of the famous 310 twin. Verlag Möwe also of Germany has a beautiful 1954 model of the Cessna 310B. That is good for civil aircraft which do not have the place they deserve in both plastic and card models with the exception of Monogram's plastic Cessna 180 both float and land versions and the beautiful Piper Tri-Pacer. Also the civil aircraft injected by Minicraft but the assortment is not as big as it should be.

Well, there's nothing much to add to the well deserved praise for builder and designer. Very well done gents. Looking forward to seeing more of your Piper designs and builds. How about a Piper Tomahawk (flew my first hours ever in a Tomahawk), Cadet, Warrior or Archer?

Cheers from Singapore,
Erik

Gary has a picture of the aircraft on the download page, but we are having issues with the displaying of pictures as either thumbnails or screenshots.

we are aware people want their pictures to show, we are working with outside help to resolve this

It seems to me that Mr. Pilsworth models are fully detailed with all cabin interior as I have seen in other of his models like the Apache and TriPacer. It is a pity that he did not incorporate the seats, instrument panel etc. to his beautiful Comanche. I do sincerely hope he will change his mind and design the full interior to an otherwise extremely accurate and beautiful model. Being new on this thread I am surprise to see that Mr. Pilsworth is so generous and offer us modelers for free his fantastic collection of card models. He is extremely talented and hope he will continue giving us beautiful aircraft models hopefully with full interiors.
