PBY-2 Catalina (1:50)
This is my build t take a break from the boat development project.
Scale's 1:50. 10 A4 sheets. Instructions are of course in Polish; I have decided to sacrifice their literary value and ran them through Google Translate. My favorite part of the result is "The glue on the upper part of the skeleton is glued (strips on which are part numbers of the plating). For these plywood we adhere properly formed parts of sewing successively from A8 and Al 6L and Al Bp according to mounting drawing 5." The diagrams are pretty good though. Here's where it's at now: I'll post more photos once some exciting plating is glued :p

at 1:33, it would be either the one from Fly, or from GPM

That cockpit interior looks very realistic.
The images of the work so far really make clear that the PBY was a flying BOAT. Don |
