MiG-21UM, 1/200

Hi!

Here is a little development of my Guizhou FT-7, the first test-build of a MiG-21UM Mongol B.

With 2 JJ-7/FT-7:

The next one will be a MiG-21U-400 (Mongol A) in east german colors.

They're all basically done, I just need to do some test-builds and tweak some details.

There will be:
- regular JJ-7/FT-7
- long fuselage FT-7
- MiG-21U early (izdeliye 66-400)
- MiG-21U late (izdeliye 66-600)
- MiG-21US (izdeliye 68)
- MiG-21UM (izdeliye 69)

If I find time and motivation, I may resume work on the MiG-21F-13/J-7/J-7 II (and from there F-7P & PG)

(I bought the Yefim Gordon book on the MiG-21 which includes the J-7 & JJ-7)

Olá gomedefilho!

I'd like to see your repaints. Did you rescale them to 1/100?

On the MiG-21 front, the priority is the twin-seaters. Then, if motivation is still there, I'll resume work on the first gen of single-seaters which requires only minimal changes (new canopy + spine and some panel rescribing on the fuselage). Most of the fins and wings are already done.

I'd really like to do the second gen though... First thing they need is a new nose and a new fuselage, then new canopies/spines/fins. There's also the 3rd and 4th gens, the MiG-21I...

I like to compare the MirageIII/Kfir family to a set of lego blocks but the MiG-21 family is another one.

Sabia disso.

If you want to build a Dagger, you'll need the Mirage 5F nose. The Finger uses the Kfir nose (at least my model does).

You might be interested in these new pdfs (white versions). I'm cheating a bit with the Finger B.

Cafe mon ami, est-qu'il y'a une chance pour le Mig21 Analogue 'y arriver?
De toutes les Mig21's c'est cela que m'interet le plus.
Pour moi, L'analogue est un avion unqiue.

(Trx) Cafe my friend, is there a chance of the Mig21 Analogue being available?
Of all the Mig21's, the Analogue interests me the most.
For me, the Analogue is a unique aircraft.

Congratulations on your superb achievements with both the Mig 21 and the Mirage family thus far Cafe my friend,

Kind and Respectful Regards, Uyraell.
