Ahh, the wonders of goo ole 500 mph tape. Many a aircraft has been able to be dispatched due to this marvelous stuff.

You see a lot of speed tape around the cargo doors. That's where the belt loaders dent up the fuselage if the driver isn't paying attention. It's also used to cover up holes from lighting strikes on the tail and wing tips. But that's probably more than you care to know.

I also saw one with the tape on one of the leading edge slats. Hate to think what caused that.

Does this mean you'll be adding a strip of speed tape on your airliners now to be more realistic?
