Dirty build gone right!

Here is my latest "dirty" build... By "dirty" I mean I cut every corner possible to build this thing as fast as I could. One example is I completely disregarded the separate connecting tabs and hand drew some tabs directly on the model... there is no formers installed, no wing box, no internal supports, the prop assembly is glued directly to the nose plate (no spinning for this prop). I can't believe how good it came out looking. I figure it all has to do with how well this kit was designed.

I still design my models to not need formers. I just throw them in because people seem to want them. Same with the separate tab strips.

Well, it turned out to be an airplane looking object, so all's well that ends well.

Looks good! In my experience, Murph's airplanes go together well.

This great-looking model is also attributable to the skill of the builder.

Good point, Elliott! I was working through the forum rather quickly and did not think through my post. No question of Falco's skill - the key ingredient, given a decently-designed model.

I just bought this one from ECardmodels and am going to try my hand, as well.

Looking forward to your next build, Falco!
