P-51C "Excalibur III" - Dave's Card Creations
Been a while since I've had the time to actually sit down and build a model. Printed this one out some time ago, decided to finally give it a go. I'm quite pleased with the result. It still needs prop blades, however I'm going with the "inflight" look... for now.

Very clean looking machine! Well done. I too have several propless and wheel-less machines and they look awesome (in my opinion ).

Mounted on a stand like this, I would suggest a clear plastic sheet. possibly from a food container.

OH WOW!!!
I haven't built this one, so this is very cool for me. I built the later Charles Blair Excalibur Mustang, but not this earlier Paul Mantz racer. And my build isn't anywhere near as clean. Nice job.

Great-looking build. Clean. It just looks fast....
I've sometimes wondered -- does anyone offer templates for blurred spinning propellers, so a modeler could make paper versions of these? Click for Off-Hub (Original) PropBlurs |
