Thank you YOAF

and it goes on ...

Next phase of construction, the ribs scaffold for the wings. The parts drawn on 0.9 mm Finn cardboard ...
... and glued. Now build the landing gear shafts together ..
... and insert into the scaffolding framework. First fitting on the hull - fits!
I begin with the front fairing of the subfloor. Part C 3 completes the underbody at the rear.

Best regards
Kurt

I follow your diary with interest ... a nice job despite all the complexity of the model ... although in my humble opinion many things can be much simpler.

Anyway, well done on the good work and the beautiful building report.

Just for comparison, a friend of mine is now building the silver version of my Mirage .... It is worth to take a look an identical model that is simpler to build.
He opened yesterday a building report for the model.

take care and keep on the good working.

Hello !

Now the wings, where the drawn elevator are cut out.
The bending edge is moistened with water inside, then shaped with the round wood on my thigh.
With ever thinning chopsticks I finally reach a narrow curve. At the front edge of the open gap ...
... closed with part C5. The wing I glue first only on the bottom.

LG Kurt

I like your idea of wetting the inside of the wing fold. I was wondering about it especially with some card paper that tends to crack instead of bend or fold cleanly.

Hello everybody

Hello Isaac, it is much better if you moisten the paper slightly

Everything is now glued on the underside, the top does not glue yet.

The flaps of the elevator are built together. Now glue the wing to the lower fuselage side.

Hello

I fix the upper part of the wing separately. Now install the flaps.
The elevator flaps from above and below: no easy exercise.

Best regards
Kurt

The trim strips will make it exciting again. I start at the wing root ...
... then continue with the middle part, and finally the tail end.
At the bottom you can see how important good preliminary rounding and fitting is. I am not completely satisfied.

Best regards
Kurt
