Hello Isaac

I'm glad to hear that you settled in the new city.
I wish you a new and successful beginning for the new Hebrew year.
And of course, a beautiful showcase of the models.

take care

Smile Unpacked and spreading the joy

Finally I have unpacked all my built models ( most were in storage for many years ). There are 298 models in both plastic and paper. All except 4 are aircraft ( 2 tanks and 2 vehicles ).

I decided to photograph each of the models for my inventory and memory collection.

For the purpose of clearing out, I decided to give away many of my models ( I do this every so often ). So far, 16 were given away to neighbors and friends as well as club members in Dayton. Today is another club meeting in Dayton and I will bring more of them to give away.

Some pics of my" herd"

Smile Sharing

At our Dayton club meeting today, I gave away 78 plastic models and 8 paper models.

Sharing my passion.

Now to give a few more and join the Cincinnati contest next Saturday.

I will display and compete with my paper models.

Hi Isaac

given time you spend in Dayton I suspect eventually you'll transform this city into a new and thriving hotbed of paper modeling activity in the US...

I see one guy in Poland is building Israeli Phantom I think the same you have. But he says his phantom is 88 cm long. That's huge. I don't recall noticing your model being that large...

Cheers

That is a huge scale that this builder selected ( 1:22 ). Looks like he will mount it from a massive stand.

My build was in 1:30 scale as was intended by the designer ( Yoav Hozmi ).
Hello Dayton-img_4771.jpg

My preference would have been in 1:33 scale, but I built it as it was intended. The thing is that the detailed work is so good, that you can scale the files up or down and it would look great.

And yes, I plan to re start the paper trend here when I enter 10 model planes made of paper in the Cincinnati contest this coming Saturday!

My winter project is the original sized (1/33) version. Thanks again for the canopy Isaac...

A clarification

Please print the files in 100% that is 1:30 scale . The canopy I gave you is also at that 1:30 scale
