Shiny it may be but that prop is a thing of beauty.

The prop seems like being made of varnished wood.

Thanks for the comments, friends

@ Erik – the “easy” answer is that the dense card I like to use is 0,8mm thick. Being a little less than 1mm has proved useful in many cases and the need to fill, for lack of thickness, is rare. I’m not sure if, by using laser cut parts, the original parts should be discarded. At first sight, no, because the recommended thickness for card reinforcement is the same as the laser cut parts.

@ Tino – you know, paper is made of wood

A small break, with the ailerons, before “attacking” the engine.

Radial engines on Halinski kits invariably take many, many parts. I start with the engine hub and the cylinder bases.

The prop looks great, and all of the details for the engine are fabulous. Very nice, indeed.

Thanks, Gary and Tino
@ Tino - did you mention small parts?

The engine assembly continues…

This is a crazy job ... in the positive sense of course.

I do not remember if I asked you before, but do you work with a magnifying glass for such small parts?

regards

YOAV

Halinski seems to like to go down to paper molecular level, and then still those small parts are made up of even smaller parts. I wonder what all these small parts are for. I's say they're going to be used for the push rod assemblies.

Cheers,
Erik
