Zio's DR1 is very nice. But it has a couple of tricky parts. And if I remember well, the supports of the upper wing are upside down.
Is not difficult once you have built the others, but it requires some patience and some tricks.

Here on Post #3 of this thread you can read my review of that kit: A collection of eleven Fokker Dr.1s (all the available free downloads)

Thank you, Rubén. I read your post and I think I understood (but I will translate it to be sure anyway).

It's raining hard now (y tengo goteras en mi cuarto), I can't turn the computer on, but tomorrow I will check the instruction page.

I hope I can fix small parts up. I have printed the kit in an A4 page... As I said, I think I'm in trouble.

Bad news is you put undercarrige on Pfalz wrong way forward. It should look like this.

Good news is your D.V came out just fine. You have good eye for those,I prefer to stick to a little newer planes, currently Brunos Ju52.

You likely need to see how I build struts.I'll make pictures in daylight but can tell you now.I use thinnest welding wire I could find 0.25 of an inch and glue it inside paper struts. In case of really small models sometimes I install wire without paper and paint it black, green or brown.Years back I did Sopwith Camel and I used wood sticks sanded down to correct shape. It came out better than wire+paper combination.I'll use anything in my models.few times I used even glass beads for reflectors

Gladiator cooler should look like this.I hope this helps.

Once again. I still don't notice the difference of the correct position of undercarriage. Even worse, I had to chose the wrong way. Too bad.

Well, but thanks a lot for your opinions. They are helpful.

I've been checking Ruben's post about the Fokker DrI and I've already translated some frases I didn't understand. Now I think it's all clear. I'll take care of those cabine struts when assembling. But I have a question: Did you build it the wrong way following the instructions? What happens if assembly the correct way? Won't fit?

I really don't have much experience about these planes, but I love it. I haven't even seen toys of biplanes, I recently bought just one. Building a plane make me feel like a child with a new toy never seen before.

So I appreciate your checking every plane I do. Thank you a lot.

When in doubt, just ask me
I use English because it is the language most people of this forum use.
Pero si se trata de mis propios posts te puedo ayudar en español.

I built it as the instructions showed. So they're "wrong" in my build.
But I think if you just turn them the correct way, they fill fit perfectly.

The best tri-plane I built is the Zio Red Baron.

I don't know that it is easier or better, it is just the only one I have been happy with. I think it was just luck that it came out as well as it did.

Other members of the forum are better at planes than I am

The only triplane I ever made was Sopwith Triplane from Maly Modelarz way back in 80s when it came out.I found it a lot easier then Camel from the same author.I should try Fokker DrI some day
