Oops! I was forgetting the port wing root.

Some more progress: the landing gear struts and the gear door hydraulic arms. Very small parts. This last part I didn't curved it as in the instructions. I have glued one point. Later I will continue. It's difficult to manage such small parts.

And at the end I will glue the antenna. That's for final work because I have the plane upside down.

Finally did it!

Now I completed my La-7. A nice plane with some intetersting small parts. They make the model more atractive.

This model was printed some years ago with the La-5. I didn't build it because it seemed difficult. So I prefered building the La-5 only.

I see that every model has it's own tricks.

Satisfied. Enjoy it.

Maybe not so much every model, but definitely every designer has his own way of converting 3D object into 2d flat parts. Are some better than others?Sure, but I think it's more of a question of finding one that individual modeler can understand, "digest" and build that model.

If you find Zio models better for you-go for it,I don't think anyone will mind
There are so many designers you can always find something for you, unfortunately very few of them make free models as nice and challenging as Stahlhart.

btw-I just looked up his site-he just re-realised Nanchang Q/A-5.i have to build me one of those...

Lavochkin turned out nice. I like the spinning prop.

Vacations, sweet vacations.

I'm visiting my family in my hometown. Soon I will continue with papermodeling.

Cheers.
