Thank you, Wireandpaper. Close to finish before a three-days breaks.

Progressing nicely. Biplane wings alignment is always difficult, even with slotted p1@$+1c models! so get a good "chilimetro/chillimeter" or in Peruvian "ajiometro"

Chilimetro? Oh, God, I don't know that so-sofisticated thing. Can't find it even in Internet. Well, anyway, if this plane looks nice, it's because of the texture the designer did, although I'm building it with a lot of patience and passion.

Sorry, DO NOT SEARCH chilimetro or chilimetrico in internet, it may lead you to suspect sites.
We engineers from Mexico sometimes use some expression analogous to Gesstimation to estimation or chilimetric to millimetric I am sure you will align properly the upper wing. |

This is the part when I used to get annoyed building biplanes... It needs a lot of patience. I hope I do it well. I will continue working on it on Wensday. Meanwhile I leave some latest easy work.

Check the posts by gomidefilho, he is an expert in building biplanes (and any other plane).
He uses a stereo-foam base and pins to fix and align the wings before gluing them. I never used it, but it is consistent with the practice I have seen of building planes from scratch like balsa flying gliders. |

I totally understand the 'taking a break and doing an easy project' concept. The tour bus/truck looks really good

Back home.
I could'n wait for today, so I continued fixing the wings yesterday night. I glued one side and left it dry until today morning. I have no more tools for this than my eyes and sense. Anyway, You may judge how it is now. I took the photos so it may help me see the alignment |

Very nicely done. Most of the aircraft I've done look like they have been wrecked at some time. Your fuselage is straight and the wings line up. With the upper wing on, the cockpit that you were unhappy with barely shows. Very good

Well, there's still time to fix that cockpit. I got to try it.
Now, I'm close to the end. The wheels will have a special treatment... (Aunque quizá lo malogre para los que tienen buen gusto) because I want to see them rolling. And those guns... I don't know if that so little piece of paper will turn into a gun. |
