Congrats! As a STEM/Industrial Tech teacher, I would love to see some more creative projects like this from my students. I did something similar for freshman western civ. in high school. Instead of just writing a report about the Roman Circus Maximus, I built a 6 foot long scale model from a refrigerator box!

I would love to have seen that. You wouldn't happen to have pics would you?

Sorry about the hijack Joshua

Belated congratulations, Joshua! I figured you couldn't miss with that personalized airliner and am glad to see that the teacher was impressed.

I wish. This was back in 1996. I didn't have a camera of my own then, and my parents guarded the expensive film like hawks.

I am glad to see that your teacher was as impressed as I was with the project. Congratulations, once again!

Thank you all! Hopefully I can find more ways to use paper craft for more school projects.

Vermin King, I got an 8 on that standard, which is the best grade. Our school is an IB school, so we use an 8 point grading scale.
