School Project

It's been a while since I started a new thread.

In my Language Arts 10X Class, we have been reading a book called " The Absolutely True Diary of A Part Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie. Our teacher gave us a whole list of assignments, and one was choosing three questions off of a list, which were all related to the book. One question went along the lines of "what creative activities help you escape?" The assignment also encouraged creative answers. I first thought of writing my answers on a plane, but then I found out how unpleasant that looked, so I decided to make an aesthetically pleasing plane with images of my creative activities, and then write about them in my comp book. It may not have turned out the best, but then I realized that this is my first finished recolor, so I might as well post it up here. I did skip over details, as it is due tomorrow. What do you all think of it?

Also it's due tomorrow, but I'm not sure whether to make a stand or not. Anyone think I should make one?

Stand or not your plane is fantastic. This project is terrific. What a wonderful way to tell people about yourself. Looks like you had fun, too.
Best wishes.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun, though I struggled with some design choices.

I think it’s great. Bet you the teacher has never seen anything like it.

I wasn't going to take time to sign in tonight, until I came to this thread. I think this was a fantastic project and an extremely well done repaint and build. If you do not get a high grade for this one, your teacher doesn't really want to see true creativity.

I have to add that I think you have put creative activity on a much more modern plane. (I now apologize for the dumb joke)

John

Thank you all! I will be sure to let you know what the teacher thinks of it. I have a B in that class right now so hopefully it brings my grade up.

John, is the joke making fun of the fact that modern planes are so similar they seem like they're the opposite of creative?
