Help! Aircraft with complex fuselage shapes

umtutsut, maybe you are using too much glue too attach the joining strips,
then when you press the strips down to set them, a small amount of glue comes out onto the unused section of the strip. this will create a ledge of sort & won't allow the next skin section to butt firmly up to the previous section. I find it takes very little glue for the strips--- hope this helps

I built all of these without any internal formers. for some of the larger ones I assed some braces to support the wings but there are nor formers. most are Murphs kits and I was just to lazy to add them. I treated all the models as if they were metal and would work it and massage it into shape just like sheets of metal prior to gluing and only used "just enough" glue. just take your time and if need be keep 3 views handy just to compare the shapes.
