Emsco also had the Douglas DC-6B. Maybe you can get a copy from Scaldis or Zeist Bouwplaten.

And I forgot, nice model. I think the Emsco models are still one of the best brands.

Hi All,

And hi, Ponytail. Handsome build of one of the prettiest machines ever built. The visual rhythm of the one fuselage, two wings, three tails and four engines has always appealed to me. One of the greats.

60 years ago as a kid of 6 I was sent from Texas to upstate New York on a Connie Flew into Washington taken by the pilots from one air line to the other for second plane to Syracuse don't remember what that was except smaller Just remember 3 tails four props,

Really nice model; great build. The Super Connie has always been my favorite passenger aircraft. Back in the 1960s, as an LT, I would always try to book flights on TWA SCs. If the 1st Class Lounge section behind the cockpit was not sold out, the Stewardesses would always come back to the cattle section and pick folks in uniform to fill the seats. I almost always got the free upgrade.
