Hi Mike

About the wing tanks....

There is a fundamental difference between shooting from a distance and shooting close up.
The real plane was filmed in the distance, so all the parts look Proportionally to each other, but my model was taken from a distance of 20-30 cm so there is a mistake called perspective, in which parts look closer than the other parts.
The wing tanks were the closest to the camera and therefore look larger that they should be.

Add to that the disadvantage of a lens that takes a close-up shot and we get what we get.

I tried to play with the photographic angle, right or left, but each time something changed in the photograph or i lost something.

I also tried to shoot from more distance, something like a distance of a meter, but the image of the model lost its resolution.

In the end, I managed to get to a more or less average shooting angle, so that I could get as much of the real plane as possible and that's what I got.....and i said to myself...take it or leave it...so i take it.

greeting

YOAV

Really cool Yoav! I'm with Nando, where are the models you built?

Hi Yoav, I only meant that the media is imperfect amd the junctions on tanks do show a bit more than they would otherwise do. Nothing that can be done until we manage to find a paper that can be used for complex curves. That will be a while. I am building up the nerve to come up with a simple model myself. No idea what it will be yet.
