this one was a bit more tricky since it included the aft fairing and the canopy as one unit to be glued to the fuselage.

Exclamation Side intakes

The side intakes were pre assembled and then glued on as a unit to the fuselage as well as the side boundary layer separator.

Well done Isaac. I remember the canopy because of the fairing was a bit of a tricky part, but the fit to the fuselage is excellent and the small strips you still have to add mask any irregularities.

Cheers,
Erik

hi Isaac

Did you use the black inner frame for the entire circumference of the canopy?

I asked this question, because it seems to me that the thickness of the lower frame of the canopy looks very thick and protruding from the model body.

I think we talked about this subject not so long ago....
Although I provide the black inner frame of the canopy, I recommend using it only when building the model with an open canopy.

When I build the model with a closed canopy, I do not use the black inner frame.
I simply paint with black the inside of the main frame and thus prevent the frame from being too thick, and so it is less prominent than the body of the model on which it sits.

Yoav

Yes we discussed this in the past. I'm not at home now and don't recall if I used the inner parts on the sides. I hope I did not

I added the small outside strips and it appears better .

Red face Canopy side strips

There are four thin strips that glue on either side of the canopy. I applied them from back to front and that turned out to be an error as it did not line up with the windshield forward frame. The correct way was to start at the forward edge!

However, it is too late to remove and re position and I decided to leave it as is. Minor error
