Did you build Yoav's Mirage at 1/33 scale or 1/30 scale?

At 1/33 scale, the canopy from the WAK kit should fit.

In any case, why not show us the picture? If you need help in that procedure, the Admin person on this forum can help you.

Sorry VILAKS, as i said before, this canopy is not so good and not the best fit for my MIRAGE.
But if the result is acceptable to you, then that's what's most important.

Anyway, look at the next picture.

Look at the thin blue line I drew near the canopy line.

Your model has a break point between the end of the canopy and the continuation of the part behind it....And my model has one continuous line as it should be.

This probably happens because your canopy is on 1:33 (And a little shorter) and not 1:30 as it should be, or it is not the best fit for the structure of my model.

YOAV

In this drawing you can see the straight line between the canopy and the vertical stabilizer.

In profile, you can't see this brake point, but maybe it's my mistake.
In fact, I'm not happy as I have made my Mirage, so in my plans there are two more of your models related to Mirage-3: Kfir C7(sorry, but with Yaron camo) and yours Mirage 5 "nesher", who waited
But this time on 1:33...
And speaking of the canopy from the WAK, that there would be no misunderstanding, I recommend it only in 1:33, 1:32 scale...

Sometimes, the manufacturer of transparent canopies, especially canopies for jet aircraft, makes the canopy for an open canopy position, as many as modolers like.

And therefore he does not make sure that if the canopy is in closed position ,so it fits into a long continuous line along with the rear part behind it.....like the MIRAGE and the KFIR jets...and I've already encountered that A few canopies in the past.

So this is one of the reasons I decided to create my own canopies for my models and for my needs.
