Dassault Mirage IIIC (Shahak), YOAV HOZMI, 1:33

Dear model friends,

although I'm not the "copy paste type" but in this case with already three building reports to the Mirage, I also enter.
Up to this construction progress you will find the construction report here -> Dassault Mirage IIIC (Shahak), YOAV HOZMI, 1:33 - www.sc2web.net
The servo cover and mounted, the ventral fin in preparation .

Thumbs up

Great that you are adding your build link here. There will be a greater audience for the various Mirage builds now.

Google translation -

Servus Seppi, nice to see your great construction report now here, too the bow is really awesome, we do not need to talk about your other skills anyway, Greetings to Carinthia

Kurt

Moderators note - If anyone feels that they must post in a language other than English please provide an English
translation (machine translation is fine) as this is an English-speaking forum. If you don't wish to provide an
English translation then send your message in a PM as it probably doesn't belong in the forum anyway.

Thank you dear model friends,

in Austria today is a religious festival so I could make the small parts and assemble.
I can only praise yoav again, a great model.

Sepi

You managed to get a very tight fit of the canopy ( especially the windscreen ) to the fuselage. I noted you omitted the extra liners under the canopy framing.

Have a great weekend.

Hi Isaac,

I glued on parts 27DR/DL and 27ER/EL, maybe not so good at the photo. With closed canopy I don't use the inner canopy frame.

Good logic Josef.....
Me too, when I build a closed canopy, I do not use the black inner frame, because it causes the edge of the canopy to be overly prominent from the body of the model.

By the way, the model looks great.

Something about fighter jet models with glossy, or semi-gloss texture.

The model with a glossy texture is really very impressive, but in reality the jet fighter planes are painted in a completely matte color.

My models represent old and faded jet fighter planes, so that the texture of the color should be matt and not semi-gloss.
so that actually some of us created a thing and its opposite ... an old airplane with a gloss color.... a point to think.

In any case .... Everyone builds for personal needs and that is the most important thing.
