http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/aviation/37696-fj-1- Starting post 178 . I'm providing my technique . You can follow the steps to build a mold and then use a vacuforming technique to make it Also, Yoav made a YouTube video. Just pay attention to what he does since it is in Hebrew Watch "MAKING CLEAR CANOPY WITH VACUUM FORM - 12.1.14" on YouTube https://youtu.be/aH9b1mWFFYg Isaac

Nose pitot tube and fairing
Unlike the Mirage, the Kfir has its pitot tube mounted under the nose.
That location incorporated a fairing under the nose. For now, here it is. but the pitot tube is not glued in place because the model is still being handled and that feature will be damaged. So store the tube in a safe place for the end. Isaac

Looking good Isaac, better keep the pitot tube for last. They have a tendency to break off during handling a model, at least that's how it goes for me. I'm considering to make them removable, by using an inner tube when possible of fix something similar. Also handy for transportation purposes!

As far as making them removable, that is a good idea, however, I tend to lose small parts during my many moves, so I'm careful packing the models and only broke a few pitot tubes . Isaac

Engine inlet cheeks
The construction of the Kfir is identical to the mirage. Onlly added feature is a slit to support the small cardboard frame for the canards that will be added later on.
here are the sub assemblies and glued on. The fit is great. Isaac
