Vought F4U Corsair
I'm starting first workshop thread.
After short break, I decided to take Corsair on my desk(table in the kitchen ). Mały Modelarz, scale 1/33. As you can see on the pictures I messed up something in camera options, so don't bother yourself about 2005 |

I have this kit in my collection. It is truly horrendous. The paper is fibrous and rough.
I eagerly await your outcome with this kit.

After looking at your pictures, did you scan this then build it?
Your parts look nothing like my kit!

You mean that my kit looks way better than yours? It's original taken from my box full of models(this box remembers times of PRL!)
Maybe different climate? I'd like to see your kit for comparison. |

I have duplicates of old Maly models where there is a big difference in the shade of color.
I am sure the printing process was a lot different back then as you don't see this in the newer models. Russell |

I agree with you 100% as earlier Maly Modelarz mags had interesting colors???

Looks like a real challenge, but you have the skill and experience to make a good job of it. The work looks excellent so far.
The vertical white stripe and overall sea blue color indicates this is an aircraft from the USS Intrepid (CV-11) air group in 1945, probably during the Okinawa Campaign. http://enacademic.com/pictures/enwik..._1944-1945.jpg Don |

Looking really good!!
If you'd like to touch up the white specks, try a matching blue chalk pastel and lightly rub/paint it on using "dust" scraped off the pastels. Of course test on a piece of scrap. Gene K |
