Gents, I couldn’t agree more with you all. Paper modelling is an art, so, we are all artists. And in Dutch there is a saying that you can’t argue about taste or liking. That makes our indvidual choices and motivations so fascinating!

Have a good weekend,
Erik

This is an eternal dispute between engineers and artists .... I'm an engineer, and my wife is an artist ..... I know what I'm talking about. :-)

Thanks for the comments Modelling is always a compromise and more so in paper...
@ Erik - not surprisingly, there is a similar saying in Portuguese: "gostos, năo se discutem"

And that’s it. The kit is not easy to assemble, both because of the amount of small parts (landing gear), and because the fine lines of the Starfighter are challenging to model. The air intake/wing assemblies take a very different solution form the KK kit and not necessarily better. Anyway, it works. The slightly glossy paper doesn’t make it any easier, either…
Despite those characteristics that make the salt of a modeler’s work, I did enjoy the assembly. The color scheme is just lovely and the printing quality is great. I’d surely be a client for kits of the same quality for other century series fighters – F101 in Canadian Colors, F-105, F-106 in the extraordinary “City of Jacksonville” livery. GPM and others: it is up to you!
I took two sets of general view pictures. With the wingtip fuel tanks, the F-104 almost manages to disguise how small the wings are.

Without the wingtip tanks, the wings look alarmingly small!!!
