Fini! (Not sure if that is correct Italian ) Prudenziati build at 1:72 scale. On a green background you can see how effective this camo would be.

Your best yet.

If you look closely at the black cat emblem of the 51st Stormo, you will see three little green mice in its claws.

At one time, the 51st shared an airfield with the 12th Bombardment Stormo, equipped with SM.79s. The emblem of the 12th was three green mice (Sorci Verdi). When the 51st was equipped with biplane CR.32s, the Green ice could outrun them. Then the 51st was equipped with Fiat G.50s, which could catch the Sorci Verdi. They kept the emblem after they transitioned to MC.202s. 51 History

Don,

Very interesting read on the history link. I also have Prudenziati's SM79 so may attempt that down the road.

-Michaels, I congratulate you, excellent model. As also the Albatros D5 biplane. At the time, I did several of Prudenzio's models, but they did not turn out very well. Now that I see yours, I'll try again.

-Michaels, te felicito, excelente modelo. Como también el biplano Albatros D5. En su momento yo, realicé varios de los modelos de Prudenzio, pero no me salieron muy bien. Ahora que veo los tuyos lo intentare de nuevo.

Very well done your model I have done it a long time ago, are very nice Zio models, simple but have their complications too, they are elegant and showy. I have mounted their Albatross, Fokkers, Camels, Stukas, Spits, Sparviero, in end many and several versions, seeing yours made me want to reassemble one. I congratulate you

I have enjoyed the ones I have built as well. I have had to add internal reinforcements, etc. but am happy with how thet have turned vout. The Sparviero looks very nice but will take some thought.

You will really enjoy the Sparviero is a beautiful plane, by the way bigger and very elegant, you will need more reinforcements. I hope your advances. A greeting from Argentina
