Hello !
The next craft day is already over. Since I forgot the hull of the X 15 at home, only the individual parts were built together.
Parts 21 + 22, elevator ... parts 18 + 19, the big tail fins.
Parts 15 + 16, the wings ... and the last small parts.
The ribs cut out ... and glued in the hull.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello !
After attaching the windshield I had to cut off the back part, the tension was just too big. First I glue the back part, let it dry well!

Meanwhile I glue the wings ... and elevator.

Best regards
KURT

Wow, nice build so far. Awesome!

In the middle of a book about flying the X-15, AT THE EDGE OF SPACE THE X-15 FLIGHT PROGRAMME by Milton Thompson. Interesting to find out about what it was like flying the X-15!

Interesting model Kurt, looks like it's one from the good old days. The silver look doesn't leave margin for glue errors... but so far looking very good!

Yes Erik. This beautiful X-15 by Geli is from the good old days. Geli models are fortunately once again available. They are beautiful, attractive, and easy to build. Not like those brands that have infinite number of little parts and no instructions. Gelis are not too detailed but they are very easy to build and accurate as far as shapes and measurements is concerned.

Hello !

Now it's time for the final ............
This is followed by the two large tail fins and the cockpit canopy.
With various small parts and the top of the X 15 is ready after 12 hours of construction. Since this model has no chassis, I have built a stand.

My conclusion: simply GELIastisch

Best regards
Kurt

Beautiful rendition. Congratulations. Build more Geli models. You'll like them. There are no better. One small question, why didn't you install clear acetate on the cabin windows? The stand, excellent idea. I think the new Geli X15 is including the full landing gear.
