Any chance you could show some details of the bottom wing attachments? Think it could "easily" be made sturdy enough for a flying model?

Thanks, everyone. It is coming along quite swimmingly!

Gene: The kit shows basically a butt joint but I extended my wire spar a bit into my balsa fillet rib and used super glue. For a flying model, I'd just extend a spar completely through just like the mid wing.

This one would be really cute seeing it up there near the rafters (or in a cloud). Hurry up and build it!!

Thanks, Dan. You inspired me to downloaded the model from the author, Krzysztof Wagner last night. The impressive graphics are in pdf vector format, thus allowing easy up or down scaling. In that regard, I'll be getting the the Wagner Hellcat and Paul ... really good looking bargains, I think!!

Hi Gene...

Yup....that's the Wagner Spider. It was his first kit I tried so that's why I got the Pfalz. I like some of his Japanese machines and the Hellcat is indeed tempting. Glad to hear you gave one a try.

I bet they go together just as well and are as accurate/builder friendly.

And Gene! Just so know that the only real "cheat" on that Avro was the prop. It was left over from a Roden SPAD (I think)...

I WISH I could make a paper prop look like that!
