Yokosuka E14Y "Glen"
I recently found one of my very first paper models(probably only surviving example of them ). It was hidden in the box with tools and model parts.
Quickly I recognized that's a Yokosuka E14Y "Glen" - IJN submarine-based reconnaissance seaplane. Interesting fact about history of this aircraft is that they were only enemy planes which reached and bombed mainland of the United States (Lookout Air Raids). Model is a GPM 55, scale 1/100 Good thing is that I made transparent canopy. Looks better than printed blue . |
