D.520 is another great subject. This one and VG-33 are my favorite French fighters.

In fact D520 is a pretty plane. In the last night I make the minor parts and scratchbuild engine exausts. I hope today finish this project.

In the last night I make small details absense in the kit like antennas made with cardboard, paint some white edges and make final build...
    Ater I sprayed a layer of semi-matt varnish and model done (in the next post)...

Model finished:
           Dewoitine D520 - Armeé D'l'Air - 4 Escadrille GC II/3 - France 1940 - Pilot Sergeant Václav Cukr - 8 kills in Battle of France. This model repaint by Brent is based on #219 model from catalogue, Bruno redesign this model, series is #2458 to #24662, the #2458 is the same subject repaint by Brent. I make some modifications on model the major is put a former from 1/33 Fly Model Kit (the magazine is a double model with MS-406 and D-520), the fuselage is a hard task to make because have some transitions in cross sections but at the last I use only three formers. In early model undercarriage legs is too long I cut 3mm for correct aspect...

The COVID 19 quarantine give me the energy to retake stop projects, remenber four 1920's biplanes? I retake...
The first is a Mexican "Corpo Aéreo de Aviacion" Ansaldo SVA-5, I paint the struts and start the riging of plane...

Very handsome plane.Did Brent or Bruno make on in Bulgarian colors? Bulgarian D.520s saw a lot of action against B-24s and P-38s bombing Sofia and on their way to/from Ploesti in Romania.I think Bulgarians wanted to buy more but I'm not sure if that was the case.
