Thanks Karol

It's really been a year out of the ordinary. Many Brazilians think like Bolsonaro's government and think that COVID does not kill anyone, they change their mind when someone in their family dies from the disease or they themselves become ill and have to be intubated. My city decreed Lockdown a second time, no matter how much pressure from business and commerce has lobbied a lot. But anyway, an unpleasant subject that should not be dealt with here in this space. Maybe I will finish the D-520 before my move but I don't guarantee it.

Thanks for test building the DB-7. The A-20 family of planes really look good. I have 3 other versions half finished. I will have to revisit them soon.

That's a really great build, Péricles. And the D.520 looks promising too.

Smile Dewoitine D-520 The end of quadrilogy!

Well friends I'm trying to finish the D520 before I move. I confess that I have never done modeling in such precarious conditions in more than 35 years of activity.

The wing fillets were installed (piece created by me) I laminated the doors of the landing gear, propeller, wheels, tail wheel, antennas and built the radiator and spinner.

It is worth remembering that the radiator, landing gear doors, legs, tail wheel and antennas were "stolen" from the 1/33 model of the Fly Model...

I try finish today. Finger crossed.

On Sunday I finished the D520, in these photos it is possible to see the complete model with only a few finishing touches that I do with acrylic paint and the engine hoods made of cardboard which are then painted.

Cool The end of quadrilogy build!

Finished just one day before the move!

Well, my friends or the latest model of quadrilogy (Douglas DB-7, Mitsubishi Ki-21, Nakajima Ki-27 and Dewoitine D-520) is finished, ending the cycle.

This sequence of four models was very interesting to build. First, because I paid off a debt I had with Brent to test the DB-7 and what a beautiful model it was! I made my Thai Ki-21 that satisfied me a lot and it is a model without construction flaws. The Ki-27 with the wonderful scheme of incomplete camouflage that Rata repainted is very good to be built, so much so that in the spirit of Bruno's models, with discipline it can really be built in a day without work.

Remember that I already built Brent's D-520 (see post #656 on this thread). The challenge in this duplicate was to insert a cockpit, a bet that earned me a case of beer with friends from my model club, the CCCP (the debt will be paid after the pandemic). So the new D-520 is "Dewoitinestein" because I added pieces from another model. In the case, the donor model was the Fly Model 1/33 scale from where I got the complete cockpit, some formers, the landing gear legs, their doors, antennas and the complete radiator. I found the results quite satisfactory, it is not the first time I have done this with Bruno models, I have already done it with the MiG-9 and the A6M2-K, it certainly will not be the last to have a cockpit inserted.

Dewoitine D520 - Armeé D'l'Air - 4 Escadrille GC II/3 - France 1940 - Pilot Sergeant Václav Cukr - 8 kills in Battle of France.

This model repaint by Brent is based on #219 model from catalogue, Bruno redesign this model, series is #2458 to #2462, the #2458 is the same subject repaint by Brent.
