Cool

I start new plane: Yakovlev Yak-25RV "Mandrake"

I want to draw attention to this product that I think is amazing for the papermodelling, I do not know if there is an equivalent outside Brazil, but if there is one I recommend it. It is a mass of EVA or Craft Foam it is perfect for conforming, filling areas to improve the gluing. In the photo you see the weight trapped in a part of the mass in the nose that helps to maintain the shape too ...

After dry is very weight and not affected paper or paint...

Another cold war Soviet gem Pér. Eternal gratitude to the B-man for giving us so many to build.

A gem, the glue looks to be a junior partner.

Thanks to your work, I'm coming to know lots of previously unknown cold war beasts. But I'm waiting for you to tackle with the Vildebeest and my old friend Late 28.
Regards!

What is that stuff? Does it conform to the interior of the part? I see you use it in "ball" shape...

I'm wondering that too. It looks like markable but hardening putty, not sure if water based or what . Sometimes putty like that can be handy for bomb noses, prop hubs etc.

I thinking of potentially using it to make smooth nose sections... you said it was easy to paint right?

Sorry to bombard you with another question on this craft foam Pér, but can you shape and sculpt it with your fingers? Like B-ski and Falco I can see lot's of potential for rounded shapes.
