Smile Tachikawa Ki-36 Ida Work in Progress

Well my friends a week of few model activities. But yesterday I did the general construction of the Tachikawa Ki-36 "Ida" a small fixed landing gear monoplane, used as a light attack / link / reconnaissance and training aircraft.

A good Bruno model with no construction problems.

My expectative is finish today.

Thank you my friend!

In fact the Ki-36 was designed to be an aircraft that operated in conjunction with the Ki-51 on the front line. A few thousand were produced and many survived the war unlike other Japanese planes being used by the French in Indochina, Indonesia, Thailand and in the Air Force museum of this country there is a beautiful preserved example of the training variant Ki-55.

Cool Ki-36 "Ida Finished

I present the result of last night. My Ki-36 construction completed. A very pleasant model to be built, without any major problems. It is number #3056 in the catalog. I made some small additions to know:

- Addition of pitot tube and sight with 1 mm cardboard;

- Volumetrization of engine exhausts;

- transformation into former of the engine and its fire wall.

I should soon build my Ki-55 repaints plus the civil aircraft that Bruno offers in his catalog, as I really liked the plane and the model.

Very nice. I just order the humble but important K-36. It also had a training derivative the Ki-55 that soldier on after the war in many nations.
