Arrow B-47 1:300 s&p

Strategic Air Command.

https://youtu.be/iV1hVLGLZ-w

I can remember going to the Drive-in to see this movie in the 50's. (No my Dad didn't sneak us in in the trunk ) Most people went to see June Allyson. Not me. It was the 47's and the huge 36's. The above clip is well worth 7 minutes if you have any interest in this era. The MITO (Minimum Interval Take Off) is just stunning. Imagine it on a huge screen at the drive-in! The full movie is available on Amazon Prime and I am sure you can find it other places.

Spent a few minutes making the connectors internal rather than extensions of the piece. Makes a world of difference in the fit. At least for me.

Another good one, Michael. I remember that film, too!

Can you tell us more about "making the connectors internal rather than extensions of the piece"?

Nobi kits have separate join strips that you glue to the part before joining pieces. The S&P and other kits have a strip as an extension of the piece. I saw tooth cut them, fold them in, etc and there always seems to be a ridge between the pieces. By cutting off the strip and gluing it inside the piece there is a better butt joint. Makes a difference to me in these tiny sizes...

Nearly a glider.

Also I googled "B-36 paper model" and OMG as the kidz say, this came up:

B-36 Peacekeeper | Aircraft |

So now probably a rhetorical question: What percentage to print 1:60 to 1:300.

Looking good ! Excellent film, an old favourite infact. I once had the B-36 in plastic, a Monogram kit at 1:72 scale...she was huge. The 47's are a sexy looking aircraft for sure and powerful. Great build thus far

If you print the 1:60 scale at 20% you will get 1:300 scale.
60/300 = 0.20 x 100 = 20%

Hackman is right. Bruno shared a B-36 and a YB-60 (jet B-36) with us. Great models.
