Cockpit in! You can actually see quite a good bit of it. I just can't get the light and my camera in there to see it. Almost shot myself in the foot!! Ileft out the engine so I could fiddle with the 'pit ala ships in a bottle. Of course I put the cowl on without thinking. With some judicious squeezing I just got it in and CA'a

A side note to Douglas Devastator-on January 16, 1942 one of those from USS Enterprise run out of fuel and crashed in Pacific.Crew spend 34 days afloat in tiny raft before washing up on Puka Puka atoll.

There was a pretty good film about this titled "Against the Sun " made in 2014 .

Interesting read. Will have to check it out later.

On YouTube is the trailer for the movie "Dive Bomber". Also the full movie for $2.99 there or Amazon video. (But you PMoldelers are a known cheap bunch so I'm sure you will just watch the trailer

Well it is done and I am really proud of this one. In just over two months of doing paper I have learned so much from everyone here. When I began I had no idea that there was as much to this hobby as there is. Thanks to all who have followed this and all my posts.

Sorry the cockpit photos don't show all the detail. If you want to see it you will just have to stop by for a beer sometime.

Thumbs up

Nice one! Cockpit in ths scale is really impressive.

With transparent canopy would be a masterpiece. Think about it in your next project in scale 1/100 with interior.
