you're absolutely right.

Small-scale models, more forgiving in terms of fitting parts ... especially when taking a model on a large scale and reducing the scale.

The reverse does not work that much....
When we take a small model and enlarge it to a large scale, then if there is a small inaccuracy, it becomes about twice as much inaccuracy on a larger scale.

Good to know as my preferred scale is becoming 1:100.
