Underwing bazooka tubes
Thinking of starting my BD present from airdave a P-47 Razorback.. I always liked the underwing bazooka tubes. I did Google them but nada (just "bazooka" gets some weird stuff!!). I suppose I can make my own but just thought I would ask.
BTW. airdave has some nice free accessories in his free section.

The only underwing attachments I am aware of, is the occasional bomb and rockets. Never heard of a bazooka being fitted. Some of the German weapons included tube launched rockets but bazooka, totally new anywhere.
M8 tube launched rockets. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M8_(rocket) |

Yep, those. Guess I will have to make my own. Shouldn't be too hard.

I seem to remember it was one of your presidents said - "Trust but verify"
The triple launch tube weapon isn't a bazooka - it's an M8 4.5inch rocket launcher. The M8 was an Army developed weapon which turned out to be inferior to the 5inch HVAR with zero launch developed by the Navy. The bazooka was a much smaller calibre weapon - 2.36inch (60mm) designed to fire a shaped charge over short ranges at armour. Regards, Charlie |

For $6.95 you get an excellent kit plus you can use rocket launchers in the P-47

Same "Bazooka" tubes were used on P-38.I found picture of a ground crew with projectile for scale.

I thought I had done rocket tubes on one of the P47s, but I can't find it.
so, I guess not then. I did Phosphor rockets on the Korean Tactical A6s...but those aren't in tubes. let me see what you create...maybe we can make a download "add-on" accessory.
