The printing looks great -- what kind of paper and printer?

Gene,

I used Neenah (old Wausau) 65lb bright white cardstock on an Epson Artisan 1430.

How did you use that paper on such a small plane? I can't build A321s out of it because it creases and folds too much...

It may be my technique. Without knowing how you roll/score/fold your
parts, it is difficult to compare them. But I will try and explain how I do it.

For rolling parts (fuselage section/engine pods, etc) I cut the part out. Then I do my
edge coloring (basic stuff here). Then, using knitting needles, or metal rods, I roll the
part using a larger size than needed. After getting a curl going, I move down a few
sizes to a smaller needle. Again, rolling a few times to tighten the roll. If it needs
another size, I choose a smaller needle again, and repeat.

For folding parts, there are different methods. Some poke pin holes at the ends of the
score line, turn the sheet over, and score on that side. I lightly score on the printed side,
turn the part over, then score again on the back side.

If you give me some specifics of which parts your having trouble with, maybe I can help.

Another possibility, what brand card stock are you using?

I'm using the same Neenah paper for the A321, and it seems like I roll my paper the same way you do...maybe I'm just being picky with the creasing...

Perhaps it has to do with the length of the part? If you could give some examples
or pics of problem areas, and the tools you use to roll with, that might give
me or others some ideas as to what is happening.

Why don't you start a thread about it, with the above information, and we
can see if the greater membership might have some helpful input as well.
