Kevin it is 67 lb by nenah. it is the extra bright series with the cu-balls on it. I've been paper modeling for 50 years now and discovered that you only need 2 general thickness of card stock 67 lb card and @ 20-22 lb regular type writer paper. you can double a 67 lb card to get a thicker part ie to laminate wheels for color front and back. type paper is great for tightly rolled parts or delicate parts like small antenna smaller drop tanks and such. the type paper can be laminated to cardboard to get your formers and things.

The only good thing about the OLD Airfix kit was the box art. This Dell model leaves it for dead.

In case some of you have never seen the Airfix "A Bit O’ Lace" kit that came out in the 1960’s, here is a photo of one built. As one can see, there are a lot of shape and proportion problems. In its time though this was considered a rather nice kit. I've added a photo of my kit in its original scale for comparison.

I ran out of display space a while ago. I started doing most of my builds in 1/72 scale. Now I’ve also run out of room for those. I might have to start building in 1/100 scale too.

John if i had known all those years ago when i started in 1/33, then saw basic "small" fighters like the F5E were over a foot long when finished, only to discover 1/50 sale was damn big too i would've started and stuck with 1/100. I entertained 1/144 but found that a tad too small. alot of the larger scale kits out there shrink down fairly nice. alot of the itty bitty details get left off, but Bruno has such a selection that i don't have to shrink many of them.
