Thank you Don, Erik and Ricardo
Erik the mosquito is still pretty enough for me to look at for awhile, may not be Halinski but a nice model. This and the Shiden Kai by the same designer are available at Gremir models and would build the downloadable Shiden as is better than the printed one in my view ..unless one chooses the Halinski. Ricardo I looked again at your GPM Bearcat and see what you mean!

Seeing the finish line now, but was unable to reach it this weekend..
some poor pictures due to lighting, sorry, but can see progress to date. Prop turned out ok, and some fiddly things like gear details and 20 mm to be added but will have to wait for opportunity to work on it again..great model by Halinski all around, again, the planning to bring an AH model out is hard for me to imagine.

So close Glen. The 'Shiden' with it's 'combat flaps' and powerful engine was a seriously good aeroplane. Available in larger numbers it would have put a huge dint in the allied war effort.
You've done the full size 'George' full justice young fella.

Ha, both I suppose but another 1/96 scale model. It's a commitment to a lot of work. My Ann Mckim is still a hull model, but it's hard for me to start rigging her as has full 3 mast ship rig .... I'm going to get back on that model, but would rather start a new ship that is a bit smaller and schooner or brig rig at the most that I can actually have enough building time to do? I ran across a cool book recently that has ship lines I've not seen before.
