You must use really tiny amounts. Maybe also the glue you use also puts out less fumes.....
I know the phenomenon of the fumes/steams of super glue....It's annoying.
But without the super glue, it takes very long time of attaching the frame to the model body, especially in such a bubble canopy.
so the super glue is the solution for me .... It's a shame that it creates steams over transparent parts.
I wonder if there is super glue that does not cause steams .

Of all the models I built, it happened to me just twice....in KFIR and in this F-16.
Having no choice, I had to carefully and gently dismantle the canopies, build new ones and reassemble them.

Terrible. But I can see the advantage of you using the super glue.

Super Gell smells less - maybe it puts out less fumes. It is slower setting. But I do not not know if it would work as well.

I tried once to use with a super glue based on gel .... I did not like the results .... its adhesion is slow and sometimes cumbersome ... it is better to use UHU.

Try odorless CA like this:

Odorless CA | Super-Gold Cyanoacrylate

I have no personal experience but they state that "They will not fog clear plastic" and few people confirms to me it works.

I just dip my plastic canopies in an acrylic floor wax liquid like "Future Floor Wax" (it now has a new name which escapes me) and then it doesn't fog with CA...

Fantastic build, my the way!!!

A friend of mine, Isaac, smeared one of the canopies I had given him with this material, which caused the reaction with the plastic canopy and made it a little dull/Not so bright.
He did the same thing with original canopies he bought on the net and it did not happen to him.

Apparently my canopy is made of other material that is more sensitive to the floor cleaner.

Ah, Yoav, simply wonderful how you work your way through the cockpit area and canopy!

The only thing I can say about superglue is my fear of getting my fingers stuck together and the stains it leaves on the model once a drop has been spilled. I stick to white glue, acetate glue and sticky glue. But what I really want to say is that when you publish this model for the public I will print a copy and start working on it right away, regardless of what's on the building table at that moment. That's a firm promise.

And I would personally see to it you receive a royal decoration if you decide to make an F16 version with Dutch Air Force (KLu) livery. Every year our king hands out royal decorations/recognitions to people who have contributed in whatever positive way to the Dutch society, to show his appreciation and to ensure the efforts by these people are made known to the public.

Best regards,
Erik
