Farman F.250 Airliner 1/100

I'm becoming more and more convinced the French produced more airliners in the interwar period than all other nations put together. Seems a week doesn't go by without discovering some previously not heard of Farman, Wibault or whatever. Fortunately for us (assuming one is inclined to want to do one) card models of these beauties abound.
Information on this particular Farman is a bit thin on the ground, probably because only one was built. There's a nice scratch-built placky on the Wings of Peace site which I used as references to do mine.
You've probably all seen this model doing the rounds on the freebie sites. I quite like the chunky, angular period look of it so decided to try it. Looks easier 'on paper' than to actually build it. MichaelS recently pointed out the wisdom of reinforcing slab-side fuselages (on his Fokker D-VII build) which I made a note of at the time; but then completely forgot to do on this model- would have made things a lot easier!
Exposed engines really need to be done properly; the designer provides both complete parts and a 'relief' front view picture that I would have happily used on a cowled job, but this cried out for the extra effort of a full motor.
No windshield is provided, so I just made up my own silver painted one.
Anyhoo, far from perfect but not too bad.

Very nice work on this Golden Age beauty.

Apparently, only one of these was built.

Great looking model. I like it even more since it’s an early style airliner. Can’t get enough of them. Thanks for sharing.
