@ Erik - right, the ring is well visible in one of the pitures that Isaac kindly posted here, too!

The structure of the nacelles central section is solid. Further aft, it is not. The parts serve to define the skin shape and its position relative to the engine inside, and that’s already good enough!

@ Paúl - agreed! Definitely, Halinski didn't underengineer this kit

The engine nacelle construction is quite easy. The back section mates the wing undersurface with a complex shape. I plan to deal with the wing before applying the assemblies shown in the last picture.

Thumbs up

So many parts that's a really complex structure! but the result is worthy .
Good job so far, it's always a pleasure too see theses birds omming to life.

Beautiful work, the many rings and clean building make for nice shape of this, best I've seen,I think with the extra formers will be a heavy model ( for card of course )

Truly remarkable internal structure. It's almost a pity it won't be visible anymore with the skin eventually wrapped around it. You should consider to leave some of it off, an anatomic lesson in Halinski modeling engineering!

Cheers,
Erik

Thanks for the comments, friends
@ Glen - it will be even heavier with the nose ballast
@ Erik - that's what construction pictures are for

The wing structure is typical Halinski. The wing to fuselage joints are very weak points and the assembly must be done carefully. The last pictures show a dry fit test.

I think it's amazing, but on the other hand I think it's too much.
Too much internal structure For a small model, it is more suitable for models over 1 meter size, but too much for small models.

The entire structure of the engines could be done with half of the parts, and the final result and outward appearance would not have been damaged and would have remained the same.

Every time, I try to think deeply to understand what Halinsky meant with a multiplicity of parts and an internal structure that suitable for a real airplane.

And as my friend Eric said, it's only too bad that we can not see anything at the end.

Anyway....keep on the great work Ricardo.

@ YOAV – we have discussed this before. I agree that many assemblies could have a fraction of the number of parts with virtually the same result. On the other hand, I very rarely consider that any particular part does more harm than good. Discarding the extra work, of course…

The movable wing surfaces are modeled separately. The pictures show the flaps and ailerons. I’ll deal with the leading edge later.
