Well, well, well, I see that there is no lack of interest Thanks!
@ Dan - it took a little over two weeks to complete @ DJE - I have a copy of the GPM version but didn't build it. When the Halinski kit was released, it didn't take long for me to buy a copy! @ Kevin - the (old) GPM version has only 271 parts. Quite clearly, it is not in the same league... The cockpit has a cylindrical shape, certainly to better withstand internal pressure. The pictures show the cylinder’s rear bulkhead, where the pilot’s seat will be fixed, and the pedals. |

I suspected this was going to be a GREAT build thread: the very first images confirmed greatly my suspicion.
Your precision is incredible, you are taking out the best from this Halinski jewel. I will be sticked to this thread, can't wait to see more! |

Wow, the detail you've shown makes me think it's a Tamiya injection molded kit....holy crap
I know some old Revell big scale kits that could use these parts.. Just sayin Cheers, Ian |

Excellent start Ricardo! A little over two weeks to complete??? You must have been doing this in a holiday period. With 1600 parts in total that makes over 100 a day!

Thanks for the comments
@ Erik - The “a little” expression was in italics Without the italics, it would be “a lot”. More seriously, I process something like 3500 parts a year in aircraft subjects and 3000 in other subjects. If not in holidays, 1600 parts would fill 5 months. Many parts on Halinski kits are small and delicate but they don’t take long to deal with. Things like rotor blades (I’ll get there…) take a small fraction of the time needed for complex parts like the canopy frames of “your” Ju-88 or “my” Me-110. The cockpit cylinder is clearly shown in the first pictures. It is painted on both sides because the exterior is visible through the landing gear openings. The seat looks comfortable! |

Thanks, YOAV and Gary
The instrument panel has many parts, mainly because each dial has a rolled paper part and a circle behind. The second picture shows that my small circle cutter has seen better days… As usual, plastic is sandwiched in the card parts to give a “glass” look. |

Looks ready to add some electricity and take off...dials look great! All that tube rolling looks wonderful too.

great....real great.
But a small question .... Will the rear cylindrical parts of the instruments will be seen? Are they not covered in the end by the dashboard? YOAV |
