F4U-5 Armada Argentina 1/100 of Thaipaperwork
In 1956 Argentina acquired a lot of 26 F4U-5 Corsair to operate them from the aircraft carrier ARA Independencia (V-1), thus the Second Attack Squadron was officially created, consisting of a group of daytime operations (F4U-5) and another of night (F4U-5NL) The Corsair participated in multinational exercises. In 1961 they fired at a submarine of unknown origin that sailed the Golfo Nuevo. In 1963, they participated in the confrontation of Azules and Colorados. In 1965 they were deployed by the Dispute of the Laguna del Desierto with Chile. In November 1965 the last six F4U were definitively removed. The model is from Thaipaperwork modified by Diego H Stasiuk. I am happy to see a model with the colors of my country. In the edcarmodels catalog I saw several Bruno models of aviation Argentina. The model is very beautiful, I still do not feel comfortable with the weight of the paper, it is very fragile, although I am improving, I am still not completely satisfied with the result. Here I show you a Couple of photos of the real plane and the assembly process.

And here the finished model. Very funny these little models. I'll find the trick to make them look better, for now all learning. In the last photo there is a Fiat G-50 Freccia, it looks pretty ugly and I was on the verge of following the steps of Falco, but I am very stubborn and I finish it the same. Thank you all

Terrific job Sergio. Don't know why we don't often see the Argentine Corsairs- they're really pretty. And you're correct in saying that each model completed is a little step up on the learning curve.
Long live 1/100! Garry G.

Good job, Sergio!
Sometimes I like to check the activity on forum in "users online"... Recently I saw that you were browsing my RNZAF Corsair thread quite often. If I'm right, you used my method for making wheels. They look alike.

Thanks Kacper! As you say I went to your thread many times, but not by the wheels, but I wanted to check if it went well with mine, especially the tail stabilizers. I have a book where there are photos and diagrams of the Corsair and in them there are 5 circles ( I do not know what they are) and they look at the top, but in the model they look down, and I was not sure of the position. This is the good thing about the construction threads, they are a great guide and yours helped me with wonders ,thank you very much.

By the way, for the wheels I do the same, cardboard, sandpaper and paint

horizontal stabilizers were inter changeable left/right, they could be top or bottom, depending on which side of the aircraft the stabilizer was installed. I may be wrong. Others with more knowledge may have more input.
