Another superb model. I spent some time with every one of these images. Your craftsmanship is really impressive.

This Ki-43-I Hei is of the 11th Hiko Sentai (Flying Regiment) as shown by the lightning flash on the tail. Since the flash is white, the aircraft is of the 1st Chutai (squadron or company). I think the white band is not a command marking, but the standard "mission" or "Combat" stripe of an operational aircraft to identify it as friendly to other Japanese aircraft (the same purpose as the yellow leading edge stripes).

11th Hiko Sentai was equipped with the Ki-43-I HEI between August 1942 and June 1943, during which time it was based successively at Akeno in Japan (where it re-equipped with this type aircraft), Mingaladon in Burma, and Rabaul, New Britain. The 11th really moved around.
