Jeannin Stahltaube 1/33

Having some days free of commitments, I threw myself to realize a project that I had in mind for some time, the Jeannin Stahltaube in scale 1/33..

Completion of three-dimensional model 95%
Completion of assembly drawings 80%

....however, I could not wait to start coloring!!

The plane on which fell my choice is the serial number A.271/14, with Argus AS.II engine.

But, in the program, I will also do other planes, even with the Daimler Mercedes D.I engine.

Soon, matt77

A beautiful and historic aircraft (with more than its share of complex rigging).

Yes, "wing warping" aircraft flight control did produce a vast amount
of interesting rigging.

At the beginning of the war,
this was the only "pret a porter" solution for the Germans.

These aircraft have been quickly replaced by Eindecker family,
who were armed by synchronized machine guns.

....then the Germans began to copy the French planes.

Well .....
all the details of the cockpit have been designed ...
I added transparencies to the outer canvas, in correspondence with the cockpit

Only the wheels are missing,
I am waiting for good photos of the tires.

This weekend I will start to build the model

soon, matt77
