You have really done well.

I want to build one of Yoav's planes as well (it would also be my first "decent" plane model build), but the only thing holding me back is the clear cockpit story. At the moment I am trying to find the plastic for vacuforming to first see if I can make a cockpit canopy before I even start the model.

In the meantime I am admiring and learning from your attempt......!

i have given up but have found a forum member who did some for me and posted them from germany.have a complete set now for all of yoavs aircraft so finaly at last start building these gems

I am dreading the clear cockpits as that stage is getting closer and closer. Although I want to make them myself one day, maybe I should get the first one from Chris from Germany. Just to make life a little easier for now :-)

Anyone have a contact? Chris from Austria is reaching out to Chris from Germany ...

Papierschnitzel - its the canopy that I am worried about which is holding me back. At the moment I cannot find the plastic for vacuforming. It is too expensive for me to try and import it.

If I do, and I can get the process, I would be happy to do one for you - I want to build the Kfir, but for me its the vacuforming that is the issue (given the fact I have done it and also cannot find the plastic)- not making a mould. So I could easily make a different mould.

It would be nice if you could buy the canopies.

Yoav - have you thought of selling canopy sets?
