I prefer WWII because my father was lieutenant in the 3 Pułk Artylerii Ciężkiej during September Campaign 1939(Invasion of Poland). I could make some WWI or Interwar models but they're not my biggest interest

His grandson, Kacper (Pacificwind) said grandad and himself use woodworker's varnish to preserve their models.
I wouldn't recommend using it on yourself though....
