One engine is finished. Front part and rear part were too short so I had to make additional parts(strips in the middle, one on the top, one underneath). That's all for today, it's 9:12PM here.

Nice clean progress. I assume this is a "whiffer" of sorts as this plane only flew a very few times as a prototype?

I think there were actually 85 of them built by Bristol, with another 72 variants built in Canada. You might be thinking of the Brabazon, of which only the prototype was built.

I have been dreaming of a Yukon and Argus in a larger scale some day .

Regards,
John

I agree with that, Bristol Britannia was widely used. It was in the same category as Constellation, DC-7 and Tu-114.

Sorry. My mistake. Yes I was thinking of the Brabazon monstosity. When I am at civilian airports I am too busy looking at the stewardesses to see the aerioplanes.

We thought those BOAC Britannias looked great on the ramp at Haneda compared to the DC-6s and -7s. They sounded fantastic--really had an engine/propeller sound all their own. Looks like a nice model for your collection.
