L-188 Electra TAA

I'd like to dedicate this model for my Aussie friend, Rata who's also enthusiast of classic aircraft. After our discussion(DC-7C thread) about monuments and things related to specific planes and countries, I decided to take on my desk another propliner - Lockheed L-188 Electra in Trans Australia Airlines markings.
Will be a nice addition to my airliners fleet

Oh, and P Wind- you don't REALLY have to mount this one on an empty beer can mate.......

I'll probably mount it on some kind of rocks from Northern Territory.

The Electras and Orions always struck me as no nonsense, get the job done types. This will really be a great addition to your little home airport.

Livery does line up nicely. Electra is a favorite airliner.
Let's see, 1/160 is N-scale in model railroad scales. And pretty close to 10mm miniatures wargame scale. Which means it isn't a large model as the people would be 10 to12 mm tall.
